I keep coming back to this poem, reading it again and again without ability to pinpoint just why it thrills and never disappoints. I think its the twist at the end, the contrast unexpected, the plopping of "is not." I just love that plop, articulated with dry unblinking attitude.

Poetry that impresses me the most is that which is profound with the least amount of words. You convey a strong message with frugal verbiage.
